COMPLIANCE

How Ody Operates

Last updated: May 9, 2026

Compliance overview

Ody Health is designed to support access to independent licensed clinicians, appropriate lab testing, pharmacy fulfillment where prescribed, and clear consumer disclosures. Ody Health operates as a technology and administrative platform. We do not practice medicine, prescribe medication, dispense medication, compound medication, operate a pharmacy, or ship medication.

Our compliance approach focuses on clear role separation, provider independence, prescription integrity, privacy and security safeguards, transparent subscription practices, and responsible communications about wellness, longevity, lab testing, and compounded medications.

Provider independence

Medical services available through Ody Health are provided by independent licensed clinicians, including clinicians affiliated with OpenLoop or similar provider networks. Providers are responsible for exercising independent clinical judgment and determining whether any consultation, lab test, prescription, protocol, or treatment is medically appropriate.

Ody Health does not direct or control clinical decisions and does not guarantee that any user will receive a prescription, medication, lab order, diagnosis, treatment plan, or particular result.

Telehealth availability

Telehealth services are subject to provider availability, state licensure, clinical eligibility, technology requirements, and applicable law. Providers may determine that telehealth is not appropriate and may recommend in-person care, emergency care, specialist evaluation, or no treatment.

Ody Health is intended for adults in the United States who are at least 18 years old. Service availability may vary by state and may change over time.

Prescription policy

Prescriptions are issued only when an independent licensed provider determines, in the provider’s clinical judgment, that a prescription is appropriate. Completing an intake form, purchasing a subscription, or requesting a protocol does not guarantee a prescription.

Users must provide accurate and complete medical information. False, incomplete, or misleading information may result in denial of services, cancellation of orders, account termination, provider notification, or other appropriate action.

Compounded medications

Some protocols may involve compounded medications if prescribed by an independent licensed provider and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality in the same manner as FDA-approved medications.

Ody Health does not compound, manufacture, possess, dispense, or ship medications. Pharmacies are responsible for dispensing and shipping medications directly to users when prescriptions are issued, accepted, and fulfilled. Medication availability, formulation, concentration, packaging, instructions, and shipping timing may vary.

Pharmacy fulfillment

Pharmacy services are provided by independent pharmacies. Pharmacies are responsible for reviewing prescriptions, determining whether prescriptions can be lawfully and appropriately filled, preparing medications where applicable, providing pharmacy labeling and instructions, and shipping medications directly to users.

Ody Health may assist with administrative coordination and order status communications but does not control pharmacy decisions, dispensing standards, shipping carrier performance, or medication availability.

Lab testing

Laboratory testing may be ordered only where determined appropriate by an independent licensed provider or made available through third-party laboratory partners. Lab availability may vary by state, location, clinical eligibility, and vendor requirements.

Lab results should be reviewed with a qualified medical professional. Ody Health may display or help coordinate lab information, but interpretation and clinical decision-making are the responsibility of independent licensed providers.

Identity, eligibility, and safety

Ody Health may require identity verification, accurate contact information, accurate shipping information, payment verification, and complete medical intake responses. We may suspend or deny access if information cannot be verified, if misuse is suspected, or if continued service may create legal, safety, fraud, or compliance concerns.

Users may not obtain medication for another person, transfer medication to another person, resell medication, or use Ody Health for any unlawful or unsafe purpose.

Privacy and security

Ody Health uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information and health information. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption, secure hosting, audit logs, vendor review, and internal policies.

Some health information may be subject to HIPAA when handled by or on behalf of HIPAA-regulated providers or other covered entities. Additional details are available in our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Payment and subscription transparency

Ody Health discloses subscription pricing and renewal terms before purchase. Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing date. Users may cancel through account settings if available or by contacting info@odyhealth.co.

Subscription fees may be separate from provider fees, lab fees, medication costs, pharmacy charges, shipping fees, or other third-party fees unless expressly stated at checkout.
